I couldn’t finish my article without suggesting you  some non-traditional wedding planning ideas for a brilliant unforgettable party.

I’m sure you want to respect the great traditions of the wedding day or at least one of them (throwing the bouquet and the Garter, Money Dance, Unity Candle). But at the same time, you want to have a modern wedding. A bride must have a multitude of options when it comes to wedding theme and, most importantly, do not compromise. Finally, the wedding is an important event and you should enjoy it. I have for you some non-traditional ideas that you can paste into organizing the event to have a modernist party. If you cater for tradition, you can choose only one or two non-traditional elements.

-Non traditional bridal dress: the first movement consists in wearing a non-traditional bridal dress, other than white or ivory.  Some bolder brides choose red or black, but an innovation would be to choose an elegant dress, long, dazzling metallic green. For the bridal bouquet, you can choose white calla lily and for bridesmaid’s bouquet: lavender and white Oriental lily. Is a unique combination, unexpected, but still elegant and beautiful. Another idea is to wear a beautiful dress of sapphire blue in combination with a bouquet of roses, bicolor orange / orange-red roses. And if you really want a non-traditional dress, choose an elegant red dress and a flowing bouquet of white roses. But no matter what color you choose, make sure that is something you feel comfortable and has a meaning for you.

-Reception in the middle of nature it’s other stupendous wedding planning idea for romantic but also oddball grooms: another approach consists in choosing non-traditional reception. Everybody expects an elegant scrap room. How about if you have the wedding outside, where you can enjoy fresh air and beautiful landscapes? But must take into account and weather risks and have something ready in case of rain and wind. If you want a summer theme for an outdoor wedding, the best place is the beach. Here the atmosphere is more relaxed, so you can choose a white dress, molded on body (without crinoline) and a flowing bouquet of purple orchids.

Also do not forget that you must “decorate” yourself with a flower behind the ear, to suggest even more bohemian atmosphere. For an outdoor spring wedding, nothing compares to a wedding garden. Do you have a beautiful home decorated with wonderful greenery? Or have your friends or family somehow? You can even rent a place. For dress, choose floral print and create your bouquet with flower from the garden, to fit all the elements as well. The whole atmosphere decorative elements can provide an air of Alice in Wonderland.
