Wedding planning guide step by step

In this article, I’d like to offer you a brief with your tasks and you can consider it a simple but efficient wedding planning guide.




-Announce your engagement;
-Choose a date for your wedding;
-Buy a calendar (schedule) that will record all the important things about the wedding;
-Consult as many sources of information before you start any training for the big event: magazines, surf the Internet and see the sites specialized firms, analyzing as many offers;
-Participate in fairs and exhibitions to weddings, if possible;

14 to 12 months before the wedding:
-You have established your budget for wedding;
-Establish what kind of wedding you want: in intimacy or with guests outdoors or in a local at a restaurant, a cafeteria or at home;
– Employ an event planning agency (full service)
– Book the place (restaurant or cafeteria)
– If you want an outdoor wedding or at your home, contract a caterer;
– Rent accessories for an outdoor wedding: tent, chairs, tables and tablecloths (if these accessories are not provided by caterer)
– Book the church where the priest will officiate the marriage and choose the priest who will officiate the religious ceremony;
– Choose a professional photographer, after you’ve seen an album with pictures taken by him;
- Contract a cameraman or two (to get two points of view) all based on a portfolio;
- Do not forget the DJ and a decorator or a florist that will create a pleasant atmosphere.

10 months before the wedding:
- Send mail to relatives or friends abroad in order to make known your intention to marry specifying the exact date and wish you had together;
– Determine who will be pairs of godfathers (spiritual parents), knights and ladies of honor;
- Choose together with the organizer or wedding decorator colors that will be for your wedding theme, that will dominate and determine roughly what you want;

Eight months before the wedding:
-Is the time for the wedding dress and groom suit! Perhaps, examine and make your idea about the model or style you think it will be most representative for you(it is important to bear in mind the theme chosen: if you set the decorations classic, you can choose a traditional dress)
– Together with the bridesmaids and their partners choose outfits and contact a fashion house or a tailor for their implementation (if necessary)
– Rent a limousine or a vintage car for the wedding.

Six months before the wedding:
- Start to frequent a beauty salon (for cosmetic treatments, hair color choice, achieving cellulite massages) and a gym to prepare for the big event;
– Buy or order a wedding dress and a groom suit;
– Select destination for the honeymoon and begin steps to obtain a visa, if necessary;
– Established the details for bachelor party (if applicable).
