After a while of being together you decide to take the big step and get married. Good for you! I wish the best of luck in your journey, get ready to work hard and make the best of your wedding preparations and your wedding day, of course! Let us set a timeline for your wedding, hoping that this will help keep you calm until the big day comes. Do not worries if you have set backs, or minor problems, this is normal, but relax everything is going to be just fine and you will have the best wedding day ever.Discuss with your partner about your wedding, consider both your wished, thoughts and feelings and then agree on the theme, on the specific details, everything that gives your wedding that personal touch. Decide you’re budged and stick to it during the preparations, because it will not be pleasant if you run out of money. Select the location of the ceremony, the church, and the reception site and afterwards start shopping for the small but necessary things, and if you feel that you cannot handle it, than hire a wedding consultant (it may take some extra money, but it will make your life a lot easier).
8-10 months before the wedding you must decide on your guest, who you want to be with you on your special day, and request their participation; also choose the caterer of the reception, the one who will officiate the wedding, hire the band or the do responsible for the wedding and start choosing the dresses for the bridesmaids; also you must prepare the engagement party.

When you have only before the wedding day you should make the necessary preparations for the honeymoon, finalize the guest list, choose the wedding cake and start looking for the wedding dress and the tuxedos for the groom and those of the best men. 2 months before the wedding choose the florist, decorations, schedule for any clothes alterations and think about the bachelor/bachelorette party, also select a location for the rehearsal dinner.
When you have one month to go you must choose a hair stylist and make-up artist (now is the time to experiment, because you still have time to change your mind if you do not like it); also go over all the last minute details with your wedding providers.
2 weeks up to 1 week before the wedding you have to make all the confirmations: guests, licenses, etc, in order to make sure that everything goes according to plan, and if not in order to fix any details. A few days before the wedding, up to the day of the wedding- try to relax, do not worry too much, eat and sleep so that you will be fresh on that special day.
Remember to have fun while planning it all, it is stressing, I will not deny it, but you should always have fun with everything, because you will remember these days in time, not only that special day.
