The Wedding Planner Starring Jennifer Lopez
One day, while running some errands (or something of a kind), she stumbles in the middle of the street, catches one of her high heel shoes in a hole of a sewage lid fixed on the pavement and Matthew McConaughey, who will be further called ‘the doctor’ rescues her trying to do something with her twisted ankle. From this moment on, the sayings from the beginning of this article start to prove their credibility, as nothing what was meant to happen get to be the reverse image of what was previously planned.

‘The planner’ falls in love and ‘the doctor’ still oscillates between his having the wedding or go with the woman whom he has just saved from a traffic accident. But the irony doesn’t stop here; it is pretty soon revealed that the wedding this planner was assisting is actually the wedding of ‘the doctor’ to his fiancée. And because ‘the planner’ is deeply involved in the actual planning, she considers the best to put her feelings aside and get the planning done as hard as it is for her, especially now that her feelings seem not to leave her be.

She tries as well to focus on a marriage party - an Italian guy (a friend from her childhood) – which her father has chosen for her. Watching “The Wedding Planner” starring Jennifer Lopez, a certain conclusion is drawn which can not be at all contested: that whatever you do, you can not plan the faith – if it is meant to happen, then it will happen regardless of what you do or plan. Even though most of the people do not believe in the concept of ‘blind faith’, this one truly takes part in our existence, you just have to have the eyes and the heart to see it and feel it.

It is something that is part of the unsolved mysteries of our innermost existence, the existence which is the result of unpredictable situations, happenings that cross our daily life, and we still do not have the answer for them. It is the realm of feelings, of emotions which dominates our innermost existence that makes it fall in love out of the blue, that nourishes our needs for beauty and our thirst for a life filled with constructive thinking and positive beliefs.

And as the movie ends with a happy-end for the unpredictable love that has meanwhile installed inside the hearts of the two protagonists, the moral of the movie can be drawn in this way: one can not ignore the odds, sooner or later they will get to you and prove that there is nothing else to do then to let yourself “go with the wind”.
