The most important task in your checklist for planning a wedding

Normally, the most important thing in the checklist for planning a wedding is to choose a local for the reception. Right after you decide to get married and you enjoyed the engagement period, the wedding location should be the header of your checklist for planning a wedding. Many couples even choose their wedding date only after they checked the availability of their desired location. This thing happens especially in big cities, but not only. It seems like things have reversed: firstly you should look for the location for the wedding, to make a reservation and only then you will know for sure when you’ll get married.

Because the demand is so big, generally, you must book the restaurant at least a year before the wedding to make sure the wedding will be held in the location you want. Maybe, since you were just a small girl you dreamed to hold the wedding party in a certain local, or maybe you dreamed to hold the reception at your home. But really, where you can hold the wedding?

Wedding at the hotel. One of the couple’s favorite locations for wedding , is the hotel, the great advantage is that like in such a location there are already preparations for such events, especially for huge weddings. Generally, hotels offer everything from staff to chair covers, plates, glasses, depending on couple’s tastes. In addition, if unforeseen circumstances happen, for example all the soft drinks at your wedding are over, the hotel will always have some in stock for emergencies. Wedding at the hotel is most suitable especially if the groom and the bride aren’t from the same town, or they have many guests coming from other towns and they need to provide them accomodation.  In such situations, the hotel offers substantial discounts for guests rooms and generally offers as bonus, a gift for grooms – a bridal suite for the wedding night. This room is ideal even before the wedding, the place where the bride and groom can prepare before making their entrance in the hall, can change during the wedding in more comfortable clothes and so on.

A minus in the case of hotels, as with restaurants, is that some hoteliers will not let you bring anything  from outside, forcing you to collaborate with their suppliers, who have higher prices than on the market. Do not forget to negotiate this issue before beating the hands.  Even if they serve beer and coffee, you should try to bring soft drinks, wine and other alcoholic beverages from outside.

Wedding at the restaurant is very similar to the hotel, with the difference that you will not have rooms for guests.  The wedding at restaurant is perfect for couples who don’t have too many guests and they’d like to hold their reception at their favorite restaurant, where usually they eat.

Some restaurants also have a terrace or garden area where you can keep the religious ceremony, but couples generally prefer to do the ceremony at church. Just as with wedding at the hotel, negotiate all aspects of the menu, the possibility of bringing drinks from outside, to decorate the room and all the other conditions before signing the contract.

Outdoor wedding is perfect for couples who love nature and they can choose holding their wedding reception in a garden or even on the beach. One of the advantages of such a wedding is that you save on the decorations, because nature is already a wonderful place, so you can use a few simple inexpensive decorations.

An outdoor wedding assumes a relatively high cost and also stress  to other aspects of the wedding: tent, chairs, table, dishes. In addition, before choosing to plan an outdoor wedding, don’t forget about the month when will be your wedding and check the weather forecast. You must have a plan B for the situation when it rains in your wedding day, so a wedding in nature can be quite expensive.
