Wedding party may bring the most beautiful and wonderful memories of the wedding day, both for you and for your guests. It is very important the place where you choose to organize the party, being an pillar in setting the wedding style. Choosing the location is a very important step to planning a wedding. Unfortunately you can expect a lot of unpleasant surprises regarding the restaurant where you organize the wedding, and the girls who are already married can tell you lots of stories. Learning from the experience of others , I will propose the most important criteria that you will need to consider when choosing the wedding restaurant, other “surprises” may be the menu changes to huge additional costs and changes in party organization.
Criteria which you have to follow in choosing the restaurant:
First and very importantly step to planning a wedding is to check any detail in a contract, otherwise likely to arise more or less things that will ruin the wedding or will cost much exaggerated. Restaurant reservation must be made about a year before the big day and this long period between the time of booking and the wedding will aggravate drafting a contract, but you specify the price differences and their variation criterion.
Here are the details you need to know: You will inquire menu, its price, the dishes (which you’ll eventually try to test quality), etc. You also set the menu and the prices will go in the contract. It will raise the price? Of course, but you specify in the contract as could grow (depending on currency variations and other criteria that), the price limit that you accept. Ask also if there are a number of dishes required depending on number of guests expected to have. Ask to see all the building, including kitchen, bathroom, terrace, if needed.Discuss whether to allow companies to bring delivering flowers, balloons and if room allows you to decorate. Also specify in the contract, because often the patrons change their mind and they will not let you do what you have proposed in their restaurant, although you pay for it (and if you insist, they can leave you with “eyes in the sun” a few weeks before the wedding). Ask how to rent room, per hour or per day and set the price and any changes that might occur until the wedding. What is the maximum time by which you stay? Be paid extra if they exceed this time? And if so, how? Note, what is written is holy.
Guest fee (usually 10%)
Waiters are paid separately? How many waiters will offer (usually a waiter serves 15 people). It takes extra money for other services such as kitchen maid? Will require their band or DJ? Price? Number of tables and chairs will be noted. If the restaurant has a terrace, you’ll also rent that? Within the same price or separately? There is parking for guests cars? If the restaurant has several rooms, no separate entrance to your room or disturb other rooms? The settled Price includes VAT? In general, any other queries you have must be clarified and also what could be changed to be noted in the contract, even if they know you or the restaurant was recommended by a friend of yours. Any detail overlooked can present a risk to any changes in your wedding.
