Even if we are in full recession, couples still decide to get married. It is lovely to go to your wedding into a limousine, have a Vera Wang wedding dress or Christian Leboutin shoes, but these details aren’t the ones that make your wedding day perfect. If you find something that you feel you can live without or it’s just for your own pleasure, dismiss it. It will help you budget and will help you economize your savings for things that truly matter. For example, you can use the extra money for organizing a beautiful and relaxing honeymoon. After all the trouble you went through planning a wedding with a tight budget, you can spoil yourself with an exotic honeymoon in one of the most luxurious resorts in the world (Miami, Hawaii, Jamaica etc.). It will definitely recharge your batteries and you will come back ready to start work and make more money.

As you can see, planning a wedding with one income is hard, but not impossible. So try to remain positive about this and remember what is more important in life: love or money?
