Planning Table Decor For Wedding Reception




When a couple organizes their wedding, they usually make a plan and divide the aspects they need to take care of in two: wedding ceremony and wedding reception. The wedding ceremony is very important therefore it should be planed thoroughly. The officiant, the location, the music etc. these are all elements that have a deep effect when promising, in front of God, to spend your entire life with the person you love.




But the reception that comes afterwards, although is just a celebration of the communion, should also respect certain rules. During this article, I have chosen to speak about planning the table décor for a wedding reception because I believe that decorations are the first thing that we see when walking into a room and it should make us want to participate with joy at that event.

When planning the table décor for the wedding reception, you need to keep in mind various aspects like table linens, centerpieces, lighting and place cards.

The table linens are extremely important although you might not believe it. Due to a large diversity of models, you can decide over what model characterizes you best: simple, extravagant, with lace edgings, elaborate designs, complicated patterns etc. What counts is that the color and design fit the theme of the wedding. It would be rude and distasteful to opt for something that can’t find its place in that particular atmosphere.

The next important thing when planning the table décor is represented by the centerpieces. These play a vital role because as there names say it, they represent the centre of attention so everybody will be impressed by their arrangement. For an average budget, the first solution would be candles. Whether you choose colorful, scented or floating candles, these will represent a nice and elegant manner of decorating the table and giving it a specific brightness. You should keep in mind that some guests might be allergic to scented candles, so try to use normal ones to avoid any troubles. But if you intend to organize a fancy wedding reception, the most popular choice would be the floral arrangements. Flowers are known for their elegance so it is a sure thing that you won’t fail, but you will probably have to pay more money to have such beauties at your table.

Speaking of candles, these represent a great source of lighting. Whether you decide to use tealight or floating candles, the romantic and intimate atmosphere is guaranteed. The last item on the list it represented by the place cards. Their purpose can be more than functional. Consider that some of your guests will throw away their place card if it doesn’t represent any interest to them, or find it dull and even offensive if is has nothing that can make the difference. Search for place cards that can represent your couple so that the guests remember your wedding with joy and happiness in their soul. My opinion is that when you do something, if you put a lot of hard work and passion in it, people will appreciate it more.
