Planning food for a wedding reception in summer time




Weddings organized in summer time have many advantages, from the possibility of organizing outdoor party to various actions favored by this season, such as beach wedding, but all have one big drawback: heat! Because of high temperature, the wedding menu has certain characteristics: must be easily digested and very cool. Traditional menu isn’t’ right for summer weddings because it contains fat or hot products which also are hard to digest, and more alarming is that some of your guests can get sick. Read in the following lines essential tips about planning food for a wedding reception in summer time




Appetizers
Summer appetizers are rich in fish, vegetables, fruits, chicken meat, cheese and seafood. Are not recommended pork dishes, sausages, fatty cheeses and minced meat products. It is important that plates with appetizers to be decorated very nice, it is known that visual stimulation is important in arousing the appetite. It is not recommended to serve appetizers prepared hot or hard digestible. A strong alcohol like vodka with ice can be served at appetizers.

First type
The first type of a summer menu can be represented by cold or slightly warm soups that may contain chicken, tomatoes (but are more demanding), Bulgarian soups, vegetable soups, which are best for your wedding party.

-Second type
Generally, the second type is grill. The dishes served are recommended not to be hard digestible, but rather a grilled chicken or fish or roasted meat served with cold wine. Don’t opt for prepared roasted in oil, and also join to this menu a salad or a vegetable garnish. Beware of meat served, don’t serve only fish, because you can have some guests who dislike the fish.

Desert- Desert is not just  the dainty of the night: the wedding cake. Before they serve it (usually the last, because after the cake will leave most guests), “sweeten” your guests with cold deserts less fat: the best are fruit, like fruit salad or ice cream. You can serve cups decorated with fruits and syrups, for example. It can also serve very cold fruit desserts and chocolate liquid, perhaps with crushed ice cubes. If these desserts do not seem right, you can choose cool fruit cake.

Be careful with the drinks. Don’t choose just  cold drinks like beverages with ice, but also leave it as a common variant of drinks that are served at room temperature because it is possible to have among the guests who have sensitive neck or simply they have a cold.
