1. Don’t let yourself be taken away: Magazines, wedding planners and many others will tell you that if you want a special unique wedding day you must to rent, to buy, to…, to…, and again to… all sorts of things. Hold on! Decide what is important to you and stick with your opinions.
2. Be original: A low budget wedding is a perfect opportunity to put aside a little tradition and decide exactly what and how they perform hostilities. While the world tells you that the bride should wear a long white dress with veil and white gloves and guests must drink expensive whiskey and high quality champagne, why don’t you take the decision that things happen in an original manner, though slightly different, in a way less expensive.
3. Try second-hand bridal dresses: Are very many accessories that can be purchased online, named second hand items. You are rounded by wedding accessories that can dramatically reduce expenses in a great manner. You can wear a wedding dress much prettier than your girlfriends, but less expensive being purchased online from second-hand stores. Nobody has to know that your dress is not new or groom costume has been worn by someone else.

4. Do yourself the wedding invitations and the testimonials:
Another asset would be worth to put your artistic skills to make wedding invitations and testimonials. You should not reinvent the creation in this area but to have little taste. The classic chocolate candy as testimonials can be replaced with a very personal and perhaps less costly gift. Achieve advantage by creating yourself the testimonies and the wedding invitations and be sure that your guests will appreciate your unique and original way of planning your wedding.
5. Versions of reception at the famous restaurants: A major problem facing couples in organizing wedding receptions is the restaurant. Is the most expensive part of the wedding. And yet ... why not a backyard barbecue or a garden cheap wedding? Just imagine: plates, dishes and food menus from which almost half of them are threw. Your guests will be more optimistic and happy if you’ll invite them at a less formal wedding. You can plan a grill or a Swedish buffet and everybody will serve as much he wants.
6. Where it is not safe to cut the budget?
Wedding album is the one where you must stop in saving money. You can give up in having your wedding filmed but keep in mind that the wedding album will be the only thing that will remind you over years and years how beautiful, young and brilliant you were in your wedding day. Hire a talented photographer to make artistic pictures. A perfect wedding is not about tradition and pomp. Is about you, about you and your husband and also about what will be left over years as a reminder about the most important day from the couple’s life.

These are just few ideas for planning a wedding on a budget, but I'm sure that if you'll think a while at what you desire the most, you'll know what's a smart investment and what it not such a smart one.
