Planning a wedding on a beach

One of the questions that we ask when we dream of such a wedding is “How to plan a wedding on this issue?”. Although this type of wedding  involves a different style, when planning a wedding on a beach it’s very important to take in account some very important details. The period of time in which the wedding is taking place will have to be summer, or if the wedding is not planned in summer time, the location should be well heated, for obvious reasons. If you hold a wedding on a private beach or public beach, although traffic may disturb you, is excellent but not mandatory. Invitations are the first to notify guests about topics of your choice. So don’t  hesitate to conceive some marine looking in bright colors, symbols sea, sea stars, flowers, etc.




If you cannot plan the wedding on the beach, then bring the marine elements in the location where you’ll hold the wedding party. Clams  and snails can be a great decoration for tables, along with a  decorative place to make contact with the nets of fishermen. Mussels may be part of bouquets just with a little imagination. You  can use colorful ribbons in blue and white and some small anchors may  be attached to them to support better the flower arrangements.

A  suitable background music is essential, it is excellent if you have the  sound of drums or the sound of specific Caribbean instruments  for example. You can make such a wedding in a closed space but also in an open tent.
The outfit can be very casual, barefoot and straw hats will complement the simple dress  and the very comfortable groom’s outfit. Cuban wedding shirts can be very suitable for summer clothing.

The bride’s dress should be carefully chosen. A very sumptuous dress, long, will be uncomfortable, so would be better to choose a casual summer dress. Silk, satin, organza and chiffon are excellent fabrics for a tropical dress. Bare shoulders will exhibit a perfect tan made shortly before the wedding. You can also cover your shoulder with loose veils that will protect from the sun if the wedding will be held on the beach. You should match the dress with the accessories, so choose some toes sandals or open shoes. Hair and makeup should match the environment. Long hair and loosened or caught up in a nice bun, must contain flowers. Bridal jewelry should also be matched to the chosen theme. Instead of necklaces with precious stones, necklaces made of shells choose.

If you have enough place, you can sit some umbrellas to offer to your guests the impression they are in holiday, basking in the sun. In the evening, you can light some torches and candles decorated in the same spirit of course. Using  your imagination and pushing the limits, you can organize the most beautiful  wedding in which the sand castles or sculptures scallops don’t miss.

Food should be light, without food cooked pretentious and very colorful cocktails.
The cake can contain the whole image by unusual scenery as clams, waves and sand, why not? Because  invitations are announcing the event and prepares the guests for  your big party, they should be as explicit about how your party will  unfold. If the wedding will take place away from town, maybe on the beach, you should have provided accommodation for your guests. Planning a wedding on a beach requires lot of attention, but even more patience and imagination. I wish you a beautiful wedding in perfect harmony with nature!
