Planning A Home Wedding

Planning a wedding can be a very solicitant job, especially for the persons who don’t have any experience or a large amount of money. These aspects play a very important part in a bride’s decision of organizing her wedding. But for the brides who want to have a perfect and unique day without spending tons of money, we come up with an idea: planning a home wedding. This idea can be wonderful if you know how to use it.

Planning a home wedding will offer you many advantages. Here are some hints and tips that can help you create the most beautiful home wedding. First of all, planning a home wedding will definitely help you save a lot of time and money. You won’t have to lose time searching for the perfect location, or argue over the right date because you will have the power to decide all of these without any regulations. Also you will avoid all sorts of unpleasant requirements like, for example, at some churches you are not allowed to take flash photography. At home you are the boss, so you can make the decisions.

The best thing when having a home wedding is that you can create it as you please. Of course, it will take a lot of work finding caterers to come to your place or bartenders, but it will definitely be worth it because it will be exactly how you’ve pictured it. And keep in mind that, if your lucky and you have friends in this industry you can always ask them to be your bartenders or caterers. They won’t refuse the bride.

In addition to this, imagine how great it will be for you to have your wedding day at home. Childhood memories, mother’s rosebushes, father’s garage, grandmother’s trees, these can all bring  great sentimentality to the day. For example, if you have a grandmother who had passed away but who left behind a tree, you can promise your eternal love under that particular tree and feel her presence on your wedding day.

Next, I will present you some financial tips that will sure help you economize. When you plan a home wedding, you don’t have to worry about transportation expenses, decorations or flowers. Also bare in mind that some of your guests are familiarized with your home, but some of them aren’t. Try to offer the latter category as many help as you can, in order to avoid unpleasant scenarios or embarrassing moments (you can put a nice, friendly sign on the toilet door, put plenty of paper hand towels, designate a place for the kids to play etc.)

Although a happy event, don’t forget about security issues. Lock some of the items you consider valuable (jewelry, money, paintings, clothes etc.) in a room, where you can hang a “private” sign. Also, for the guests who had too much to drink, be sure to call them a cab and hide their keys. You would not want your friends or family to get into an accident on their way home.

Mainly, these are the essential advice that a person who plans to have his/her wedding at home should be aware of. Together with these tips and an optimistic view your wedding’s success is assured.
