Planning a great wedding in vintage style!

This year, two currents are very in trend: personalized (and here I am referring to authentic things, to things that wear your mark and speak  volumes about your personality) and vintage which is already a very exploited trend. In this article about planning a great wedding, I’d like to offer you some tips about organizing your wedding in order to be the most impressive, the most precious and unique. All the brides want that their wedding be the most fabulous and my article is dedicated to those women who are very into “vintage style” and they’d like to introduce this current in their wedding. With all the things that stores are selling today, nothing is more easier than planning your wedding in a very personal manner.  All you need is time, patience, ambition and creativeness. The vintage style wedding is elegant yet warm, with a charm that persist in time through its unique beauty. To organize a vintage wedding you must love the warm and welcoming atmosphere, be an incurable romantic and look to the things you like old, grand, worked with great care and delicacy.

A vintage wedding decor
The décor should include warm colors, neutral, sweet, but a slightly grating element that breaks down the easily neutral atmosphere. Use pale colors of pink, brown, hot chocolate and warm browns, white and cream. The vintage items can be bought from shops that sell antique or old things, you can make cages, chandeliers, silk flowers, wooden bowls and boxes with embroidery, silk or fabrics embroidered in the old style. Key objects are impressive framed mirrors, flowers and plaster worked in the warm colors of those years (cream, gold, brown).

Fabrics used should be cut out for, you may use silk or imitation, heavy fabrics, embroidery, velvet. Use large pictures that bring images of those times, taking care to match the colors well.

Candles in wrought iron holders, worked out, but also extra chandeliers bring a plus of shine from those days.

Clothes
Bride’s gown should not contrast with the style of the wedding. Choose old jewelry, pearls or gold with solid work, presenting flowers, or other elements of nature, in filigree jewelry etc. Wedding invitations
They can be engraved or written on old paper with a pen, attached to the edge with braid or lace.

Planning a great wedding with amazing testimonials
Testimonials may consist of embroidered handkerchiefs like those of those times, in old style silvered glasses, in candy coated in the wedding colors, with embroidery and served in vintage style packaging, pens, tobacco boxes, etc.

Wedding flowers used for decoration must have a wild look, less stylish or exotic. For example, flowers lilac, peony, violet, flower bride, green hydrangeas and more.

Ambient music can be jazz, but still choose entertaining music for your guests so that each of them to dance at least once.
