Planning a garden wedding in eco style

Lately I noticed that lots of people pay particular attention to environmental protection, and terms such as ‘eco’ and ‘green’ are increasingly using in  the media and others domains. Moreover, these concepts were implemented in the field of weddings, resulting a “cross wedding” or “green wedding“, an event that must be totally “clean” and which promotes the environmental protection. After a serious documentary, we managed to make a list of suggestions for planning a garden wedding in eco style.

As you already know, the outdoor locations are perfect, whether may be a gardern, on a meadow or on the lake. If you’re afraid of rain, a tent is the perfect solution. Invitations must be necessarily made of recycled paper or, even better, in electronic format. You mustn’t get stressed because of the wedding menu. This should be as light as possible so organic dishes and “home made” drinks will be just great. Wine, cocktails, milkshakes and cherry brandy are wonderful options.

Opt for seasonal flowers for both bride’s bouquet and the arrangements on the tables. Field flowers are a perfect choice. Another option is the pots with flowers, which will find utility also after the event.

Wedding dress should be as simple, made from organic materials such as flax or linen. It can be accessorized with a wreath of field flowers. You should opt for a simple dress, maybe an Empire one, with few plaits and why not, just a bit more sophisticated! You can visit some knitting stores to see some ideas. Usually, manually beaded corsage or some insertions or flowers, lace or covered buttons are ideal.

In terms of decoration location, limit only up tables, which you can embellish with natural fabrics of flax and cotton.  Choose to come to the wedding in a carriage instead of the sedan. Order only digital photos, give the album and post online pictures for guests to be able to admire.

Planning a garden wedding, especially in eco style, not only is very easy to organize, isn’t very stressful, but also you can plan it yourself without paying some wedding planners services. In conclusion, planning a garden wedding is very costless in comparison with other outdoor or luxurious indoor weddings.

You only need some time to write on a paper all the ideas that come in your mind and you think you can make them to become real. Also, a good idea is to get as well informed about wedding gardern decor by reading magazines about home and outdoor style, reading sites or forums. Of course, nature is already helping you a lot through her beauty, so opt for simplicity and enjoy your garden wedding!
For me, all about eco weddings sound interesting … What do you think?
