Name Of Movies About Wedding Planners

Becoming an adult is probably not the best thing in our lives. From my point of view, growing up has become very tiring because I feel how, day by day, I loose everything that was important to me until now. Adulthood comes with many  responsibilities. You can no longer sit around and wait for your parents to give you money. Or you can, but it wouldn’t be fair. So, for me is very difficult to cope with this change and I find myself very stressed and very tired. But I managed to find something that relaxes me and makes me sleep better.




Every time I can, I watch a movie, but not any type of movie. I usually go for romantic comedies or family stuff which, although may sound a little cheesy, they make me feel better. Lately, I have been watching movies about weddings, and I want to share with you some names of movies about wedding planners which I thought they were ok. “The Wedding Planner”, “Bride Wars”, ”Sleepless in Seattle”; “I Do (But I Don’t)”; “My Best Friend’s Wedding”; ”While You Were Sleeping” are just some of the names of movies which I thought are worth mentioning.

Of all these names, I chose to talk about two romantic comedies which I enjoyed very much: “The Wedding Planner” and “Bride Wars”.

First of all, there is “The Wedding Planner”, a movie from 2001, staring Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey as leading artists. The movie presents Mary Fiore, a wedding planner who falls in love with a doctor, Steve Edison. But their love story is impossible, because Steve is engaged to another woman, who happens to be Mary’s best client. After a series of obstacles, almost getting married with someone else, Mary realizes that she loves Steve and  they end up together. This is a nice, relaxing movie, with funny moments, which puts you in a better mood.

The second movie is “Bride Wars”, a  2009 romantic comedy which presents the adventures of two good friends who decide to get married. Emma Allen (Anne Hathaway) and Olivia Lerner (Kate Hudson) are two best friends who, due to a clerical error, are supposed to get married at the same time at Plaza Hotel (their childhood dream location).None of the two wants to settle for another wedding date, so they end up sabotaging each other’s wedding plans. After going through all sorts of troubles, the two brides conciliate and admit their stupid mistakes. This beautiful movie reminds us that friendship and love are more important in life than anything else.

All in all, I think that we all can say that after analyzing these names of movies about wedding planners ,we come to the conclusion that it doesn’t really matter how it’s called or what it is about or who is playing. We just need something that can get us rid of all the tension accumulated during the day. And what can be better than a funny love story with all sorts of intrigues that make us forget for a moment about the daily problems. Try it! You won’t regret it.
