Kidada Was Planning Her Wedding To Tupac In 96

Tupac Amaru Shakur! During the 90s, this name was probably the most famous name in the musical industry of the Unites States. Born in June 1971, Tupac Shakur, also known as 2Pac or Makaveli was an American rapper and promising actor. He was also a social activist, many of his songs, dealing with the problem of discrimination and racism, growing up among violent people, life in the ghettos and the rivalry between different rappers. Many consider that the reason why Tupac was killed is because of his songs and the messages sent by these; messages which were most probably true and which were supposed to open the eyes of many American citizens.

In September 1996, Shakur was visiting Las Vegas in order to attend a Mike Tyson- Bruce Seldon boxing match, when he was shot. He was rapidly taken to the University Medical Center, where he died after a while of cardiac arrest and respiratory failure.

At that time, he had a relationship with Kidada Jones, an American actress, model and fashion designer. According to some sources, Kadida was planning her wedding to Tupac in ’96 when the terrible accident happened. Some say that their relationship was based mainly on financial interests, Tupac only wanting to marry Kadida because of his father influence in the musical industry. But this affirmation is negated by those who consider this just a false rumor, because be the time they got together, Tupac had already had the money and popularity he needed. But Kadida wasn’t the only lady in Tupac’s life. He was also known to have had relationships with Keisha Morris, Madonna, Arnelle Simpson, Jada Pinkett Smith or Sali Richardson. So he wasn’t exactly the man to settle for small things.

As I said earlier, at the time Kadida was planning her wedding to Tupac in ’96, Tupac was already wide known and had passed through many rough experiences. In 1993 he formed the group “Thug Life” which sold out really fast. After this, he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel room and convicted to 1-4 years of prison. He was released after a short period and in 1994 he was shot 5 times and robbed after entering in a studio in Manhattan. During his imprisonment he read many books by Machiavelli or Sun Tzu and even began writing a screenplay which presented the story of an adolescent who becomes an important person in the narcotics industry. After getting out of prison, Tupac went back to the recoding studios, where he formed a new group entitled Outlaw Immortalz. This was the last group he formed and sang with. He also intended to develop a house record called Makaveli Records for the young artists he wanted to invest in. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the chance to do it, because of the assault.

It is a pity that talented men, who had only good things to offer, died so young. I must admit that until now I didn’t know in detail the story of Tupac Skakur, but now that I have found more about him, I must say that I am truly impressed and once again, I take my hat off to these people who have a natural talent and are passionate about their work.
