Important wedding planning dates

There are many aspects regarding the wedding planning, but after he’ve asked you to marry and you said “yes”, the first thing you will set is the wedding date. Even before to have a set budget, you need to know when you’ll get married, because otherwise you cannot book a local, you cannot talk with the priest about the religious ceremony and you cannot sign contracts with catering agency or event planning. There are some important wedding planning dates, but couples choose their wedding date depending on their anniversary, family events, official holidays or priorities.

Here are the most important wedding planning dates you should keep in mind before choosing the date.

What are your priorities? Before choosing the wedding date, set what are the priorities for your wedding day. It can be a wedding at the restaurant, so you’ll set the wedding date only after you went to a restaurant and have checked the available data. If you don’t want to postpone the wedding date but you want very much to hold the party in a certain location, you should book it with long time before the wedding, maybe with more than a year before the big day. Many brides-to-be set the wedding date depending on the availability of a certain priest to officiate their wedding. For others, the date is more important than the restaurant or priest’s availability.

If you can choose between several dates at restaurants, take as priority the number two on the list and sync data, then think of the number three priority. Caught in the emotion of the moment you can choose a date that is only available at restaurants without thinking that you can not get married in church that day because it’s holiday, for example. Synchronize all the elements you feel are important before choosing the date!

Weddings in holidays
We are not talking here necessarily about religious holidays, but the holidays like May 1 or Valentine’s Day. Firstly, it will be difficult to find an available local and most likely you will pretty much wait at Civil Service, because in these days,  many couples choose to get married. In addition, some guests may have made plans these days and would not attend the wedding due to conflict of schedule.

Moreover, in public holidays season and especially Valentine’s Day, because it is one of the most popular wedding dates, prices may increase dramatically at all wedding products and services, including the restaurant menu. If you have many guests out of your town, check before choosing the wedding date, if there are major events in your town that day, especially large-scale events, which can block the city, aggravate traffic and handle parking and accommodation.

The choice of the day in the week you’ll get married. Generally, the most popular day for wedding organization is Saturday, but you can cut costs or get discounts from wedding vendors if you’ll choose other wedding day of the week. If you’ll announce your guests in advance, most will attend the wedding any day of the week.  The restaurants representatives say that guests drink and eat more moderately when weddings are held on Sundays, because the guests must go to the office the next day.
