How Starred In The Wedding Planner Movie

The movies’ industry has always been appreciated for its work and passionate ideas. Of course, like in any other field of work, some productions are doomed to fail their purpose. It is no surprise that some movies are better made than others, but usually in this domain if you have played in a movie and has gotten bad reviews, your reputation has a lot to suffer. The same thing can be said about an actor and the types of movies he starred in. For example, if I am looking for a nice comedy to make my night better, I would go with a movie of Adam Sandler’s or Mathew Perry’s. In my opinion, these are brilliant, talented actors and real models for the young generations.

But I have recently discovered another interesting and promising comedy actress: Jennifer Lopez. Although she has played in many movies so far (“Anaconda;” “Gigli;” “The Cell;” etc.) a romantic comedy requires different perspectives on acting. The fact that she managed to give an excellent interpretation in movies like “Selena;” “Maid in Manhattan;” “The Wedding Planner” etc. confirms that she is a sensitive actress that has a lot of talent. She has a pleasant personality and in a sweet way she seems not to be aware of her charm.

She starred in “The Wedding Planning” movie in the role of Mary Fiore, a passionate and dedicated wedding planner who does her job excellent, but doesn’t know how to plan her personal life. She meets Dc. Steve Edison (Matthew McConaughey) after an accident and falls in love with him after spending an afternoon together. Unfortunately, Steve is engaged to Mary’s best client, Fran, so their relationship is impossible. After few incidents (Mary meets with her ex-fiance who got married and is expecting a child and begins to reconsider her life), Mary decides to marry her childhood friend, Massimo, even if she is still in love with Steve. The movie ends with the two protagonists returning to the park where they spent their first afternoon together and probably living happily ever after.

“The wedding Planner” is the perfect example of movie which has a little bit of everything: humor, romance, tears and laughs. Besides Jennifer Lopez who played the part of Mary Fiore and Matthew McConaughey who was dc. Steve Edison, other people that starred in “The Wedding Planning” movie and knew exactly how to win the audience on their side, are: Bridgette Wilson (Fran Donolly- Steve’s future bride), Justin Chambers (Massimo- Mary’s childhood friend), Judy Greer (Penny- Mary’s friend), Alex Rocco (Salvatore- Mary’s father), Joanna Gleason (Mrs. Donolly- Fran’s mother), Charles Kimbrough (Mr. Donolly, Fran’s father), Cortney Shounia (Mary Fiore – Age 7) any many other more or less famous actors.

If you want to watch a romantic comedy, after a harsh day at work, I recommend you give “The Wedding Planner” a chance. You can also try “The Back-up Plan” or “Monster-in-Law”, two wonderful movies, which will definitely help you forget all about the mundane problems that are bothering you.
