How about an outdoor wedding?

It is not easy to plan a wedding. There are lots of things you have to take into consideration, a lot of people to please, and this is certainly not an easy job to do. The most difficult task of them all, as I see it, is planning an outdoor wedding, because there are even more factors to consider that in the case of an indoor one. Nevertheless the beauty of an outdoor wedding is remarkable and the memory will last a lifetime.




Although hard someone has to do it, therefore let us see how we can plan the perfect outdoor wedding:
-The first thing you have to consider is the weather. You must check the weather forecast ahead, and make sure that there won’t be any gray clouds that may ruin your perfect day. Also take into consideration that forecasts are not always 100% certain and you must have a back-up plan in case something goes wrong. You may plan your outdoor wedding near a covered place, so in case of changing weather you have a new place at hand.

-There are times when planners do not take into consideration the wind situation, as I like to call it. Although the weather may be good, you should consider that wind may blow hard even in sunny days, especially if you choose a location near or on the beach, therefore consider the fabrics you will use in your wedding, and avoid light ones like chiffons and china silks.

-Think about your guests. I am sure that you want to treat the properly, and if the weather will be hot then you could serve them some cold refreshments and may be provide some umbrellas so the sun won’t bother them. I also consider that you may mention what the weather will be like so they will know what to wear. You want all the best for your guests, isn’t that right?

-Another important issue to consider is how you choose to arrange the seats, the dance area so that everybody can hear perfectly, you definitely do not want any complaints, and you want the sound to be perfect as you whole wedding.

-When it comes to decorations, the task may seem easier, but that is not quite true. Although you are surrounded by natural beauty you must give nature and beauty some help and make sure everything is fine and dandy. A beach wedding needs a few flowers to make the landscape special. Do not forget that this is your wedding and you must choose things that you like and give it and then you personal touch; this will make it indeed special.

-Make sure that you have the necessary permits for the location where the wedding takes place, because it will truly be embarrassing for the police to show up uninvited and ruin it all.

-Bugs and insects are a huge issue outdoors, therefore make sure that you have some citronella candles and may be a bug zapper or two.

-Also, do not forget about the food, and make sure that your catering company has a special menu for and outdoor wedding; you would not want everything to melt, would you?
