When you start thinking to hire a wedding planner for your wedding reception you have to know exactly what are the duties of a wedding planner because the moment you have him/her it is supposed that you would be relieved of all the burden of organizing such an event. Wedding planners are professional people that are highly trained and experienced in order to take this burden off your shoulders and run the entire job for you. That is why they work more than 12 hours per day and give up their free time, their only purpose is to have all the things well planned and ensure you of the success of your wedding.

For the reception hall it is also his/her duty to find a location that proves to be comfortable enough for the number of your invitees, the planner has to be sure that the hall provides all the necessary facilities to host the wedding, number of seats, table etc. He/she has to make suggestions about the music for the reception, asking you what is there that you two would prefer, hiring a DJ or simply use a CD player with the songs that you select or even better to hire a band to sing your favorite tunes.
