Does A Day Of Wedding Planner Need Insurance?
Making money nowadays is quite hard and unsatisfying because there are few job offers for students or people with limited experience. I was browsing over the internet a couple of days ago to see if any possibilities have occurred, but the domain which had the largest number of ads was the sales industry. Usually these people sale insurances for everything you can think of (car, house, life, and most surprisingly weddings).
“Does a day of wedding planning need insurance?” some of us might wonder. Well, if you talk to your
wedding planner, this will tell you that it is a great idea because you are protected “just in case”. Practically, a wedding planning insurance covers for almost everything that could go bad on your wedding day (a certain vendor doesn’t show up, your wedding dress suffers an accident etc.). So if something gets messed up, the insurance company takes care of it.

But don’t get to ecstatic yet, because insurance companies cover only certain elements, so before taking any action make sure that you receive a list with all the coverage elements and read carefully any specification (most often written with small letters) that can be misleading. Among the most popular items provided by these companies are: the military area, vendor issues, photography or attire. If your future spouse is part of the military system and he or she is called up urgently, the company will contribute to the rescheduling costs. I don’t know whether these will be necessary if you intend to postpone your own wedding because of your job, but it is good to know that someone has your back.
Vendor issues refer to situations like: if the caterer you have chosen drops out one week before your wedding, you will most likely have to pay more in order to book someone else on such short notice. What the insurance company does is to help you with the difference of money.

Next on the list is the photographic field. If your photos are being damaged during development, the company will pay the cost of another set of pictures. Although this is a rather strange idea, because I don’t believe the couple will agree to plan another wedding just so that you can take their pictures correctly. In these cases, photographers are advised to be extra-careful and use products of the best quality.
And last, you can insure your wedding attire in case they get stolen or damaged. What is more upsetting and unfortunately more frequent, is losing your luggage in airline mix-ups, which is paid by your insurance, but for some is of no use.
I hope I have managed to answer the question “Does a day of wedding planning need insurance?” that was bothering some of you. In cases like these, the decision is subjective because things might go bad or not, on your wedding day. If you insure your wedding and something goes wrong, you are paid back a certain amount of money, but if everything goes smoothly, the money you’ve spent was wasted for nothing. So try to decide what’s best for you and your wedding!
