Checklists For Planning A Wedding




Control the situation in the next period of time and keep everyone calm around you. Read the following part of my checklist for planning a wedding and you’ll notice that all tasks are easily fulfilled.




-10 months before the big day: you already have a list of possible guests. Try to send an email or contact them by phone and give them details about the event, the date, the time, the location and accommodation possibilities, if you are coming from another city or abroad.

Choose your sponsors, ladies and man of honor and put them in touch with useful information about the wedding and also about their duties.  Begin to contour the wedding’s theme choosing also the colors you’d like to use.  Contact a cameraman, a photographer and musicians, confirm their presence at your wedding and sign a contract. You may be forced to pay some fee in advance.

-8 months before the big day: Begin taking care of your wedding dress and of the groom’s tux. Try on as many models as possible to get an idea of what is more advantageous for you. Remember that the wedding dress should be in tone with the wedding theme. Also, contact the groomsmen and bridesmaids and set together the wedding outfits. 

- 6 months before the big day:
Pamper yourself with massage for toning muscles and skin, contact a salon to  choose a hair-do, manicure and pedicure for your wedding day. It would be advisable to do a hair sample.
Buy or pay in advance the wedding dress and the groom’s tux and check if there is any fault.
Choose your honeymoon destination and get interested about the necessary documentation, if you choose a destination outside the borders of Europe.

And here starts my check list for planning a wedding but, I warn you, these are the last steps charged by emotions you’ll have to do. Finally, you’ll see that all your work has not been in vain!

Planning a wedding takes time and attention, because many things must be organized. But if you follow step by step a structured plan, you will not have cause for concern and you will enjoy your wedding day. – 4 months before the big day: Begin buying wedding outfits and the necessary accessories: shoes (try to go with them to the house to get accustomed), wedding rings, shirt, tie or lavaliere, jacket, underwear.

Establish, together with the priest, the program under which religious ceremony will take place, especially if it is present and a choir. Finalize guest list and program bash with DJ music or band. Check out the documents needed for the religious ceremony and for the civil.

- 3 months before the big day: Begin to order wedding invitations or even you can create yourself the invitations.Get consoled with your decorator and purchase the necessary accessories like: ribbons, gauze, tulle and other materials. Also, if you want to give to your guests some small gifts, buy them early. Pamper yourself with samples of cake in the cafeteria and pick one of the sweet varieties.
