Celebrity Wedding Planner

Being a celebrity is definitely not as easy as it sounds. Some of you may think I am joking, but I am not. Without taking into account the financial benefits and the fact that you will become known world wide, there are lots of other negative aspects which need to be taken into consideration. Being famous means that your fans will recognize and follow you everywhere, wanting your autograph or a picture with you, but it also means that you will be “hunted” by every fanatic who has fallen in love with your image.




You will not be able to go and buy yourself a pack of cigarettes, because the paparazzi will be all over you. Actually, if you are famous you can have people buying cigarettes for you, but that is not the point. The point is you will not have one moment of pace.

After all these arguments, how do you think a celebrity’s wedding will be? That is sure a thing to consider thoroughly. Being the wedding planner of a celebrity means having a lot of courage and ambition. We all know how pretentious celebrities can be when something concerns them. A wedding planner who works for a celebrity will not only have to tolerate the usual “bridal” stress, but in some cases also the “I’m a diva so I’m in command” stress.

Being famous changes a person, especially because of those people who let them act as children, making them believe that everyone is at their constant command. But it wouldn’t be fair to generalize; there are some human beings left in this type of glamorous  world.

Although hard, there are some examples of people from the wedding planning industry who have managed to work with celebrities. Let’s take the example of Diann Valentine. Born in California, Diann was taught by both her parents to work hard and follow her dreams. Doing so, after many years of struggling, she formed her own wedding planning company, called “Memories”. This has brought her an immense success, managing to work with celebrities like Usher, Toni Braxton,  Kelis, Nas, LaShawn Daniels and many others. Her professionalism and ambition led to the creation of many stunning weddings which helped her career develop.

This is not the only example of wedding planners who worked with celebrities. Famous wedding planners like David Tutera (who also has his own TV reality show called “My Fair Wedding”, where he encourages and supports many brides through the process of planning their wedding), Donnie Brown (born in Texas, Donnie is one of the best wedding planners in his area, who also presents a TV show entitled “Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?”), Anna Cruz, Gina Sole or David LaVoy, also are also known by celebrities.

As you can notice, a wedding planner who works with a celebrity is a normal human being, who has had the opportunity to become a successful person. Being one of the best in your industry, gives you many financial and social advantages, but in order to benefit from these, you need to reach a high position in the hierarchy of important people, and this can only be accomplished through hard work, dedication and  ambition.
