Bride Wedding Planner

In the wedding planning process there are many things to be taken into consideration: location, setting, decorations, flowers, music, attire and many other things. But beside these elements that make the wedding look beautiful, the most important factor is the bride. At every wedding I have been to and in every movie I have seen about wedding planning, the bride plays a crucial role.

We might say that she is even more important than the groom. But that is just my opinion, so don’t shoot! Because of this element, when choosing a wedding planner to help with the organization, is very important that he or she is in good terms with the bride. The relationship between the bride and the wedding planner should be based on sincerity and straightforwardness.

Depending on the services the wedding planner is providing, the relationship between bride and her coordinator changes. If the couple decides to appeal to the help of a wedding planner just for a piece of advice or guidance, it is normal for this relationship that we have been talking about, to be less intense and more professional. But if the couple chooses to assist their wedding planner while doing his or hers job, they may develop strong connections.

Of course this is not compulsory but rather depends on both sides’ wish. If we stop to think about it, usually being a wedding planner means that you come in contact with many people, so it is difficult to bond with all of them. Also, working in this industry means that you are rather busy so you aren’t left with much time to socialize.

From the wedding planner’s perspective, it is good to maintain a strong relationship with your clients because if they like you, they can recommend you to other people and you get to enrich your business portfolio. As a bride too is healthy to have a good relationship with your wedding planner because if you get along and establish strong connections he may even offer you a discount or manage to provide you some of the best services. So the advantages occur on both sides.

Don’t forget that as a bride, you asked for the wedding planner’s help and not vice versa, so try not to ignore his or hers advice and refuse his or hers support. On the other hand, try not to take the opposite road and listen blindly to what the wedding planner says. Keep your ideas and use them, refuse gently what you don’t like and be sincere to your wedding coordinator. You are both fighting for a common goal! A good collaboration and an honest relationship will help you work better together and therefore plan a wonderful and perfect wedding.

The conclusion of this article is that in the relationship between a bride and her wedding planner things should be simple: one person helping the other. Keeping a professional attitude is recommended but it is also wonderful when you forget about this and act as a human being. Eventually, we are all humans and we deserve to be treated as such.
