The purpose of this article is to offer you a guide for planning a wedding from beginning to the end. Here’s the tasks you should accomplish.

9-12 months before the wedding:
– Organize a meeting between the two families. With  this occasion, try to define a style of reception and establish the budget.
– Set the time and date of marriage, considering all stages of the day. Avoid 14:00 for the ceremony, or cocktail reception at 16.30. It  is possible that the guests program will not be so flexible, in  addition to wedding organized in summer time, the 14:00 hour can create  problems for those who are more sensitive to heat.





-Choose a church and a priest for the ceremony, talk and pay an advance to reserve the space.
– Set party place as soon as possible. Most beautiful places are reserved well in advance so you’d better decide these things soon.

Six months before the wedding:
– Choose your wedding dress.
– Choose the groom’s suit.
– Prepare list of guests for dinner and cocktail reception.
– Set godparents and witnesses who will be attending the ceremony.
– Start a file with all documents required for civil and religious marriage.
– Get quotes from three or four different companies catering.
– Book a DJ or a band.

3 months before the wedding:
– Choose and order wedding invitations.
-Choose and order wedding rings.
-Take sample for hair-do  and makeup.
– Take sample wedding dresses and also set other details such as the ones related to the shoes, the veil, the jewelry.

2 months before the wedding:
– Send invitations.
-You must do the cart.
– Book honeymoon.
– Take the new contact all providers: photographer, cameraman, catering, band, priest … and make sure everything is okay to date.
– Order the arrays for civil marriage.

One month before the wedding:
– Post file for civil ceremony.
-Confirm the guest list.
– Set an appointment with hairdresser and makeup stylist.
– Confirm costs with restaurant menus depending on the number confirmed.

15 days before the wedding:
– Ordering the bouquets and the floral arrangements.
-Order the wedding cake and the cupcakes.
-Make a sample again of your gown to notice if some alterations must be done.

One week before the big event:
– Establish the seating of guests.
– Make your manicure and pedicure.
– Established the last details regarding the honeymoon.
– Establish who will handle the various details (transportation, flowers).
-Relax and try to think if you forget something or someone.
-Celebrate upcoming wedding with friends (bachelor party).
